Bishop

Well carved figure of a Bishop which still retains the original polychrome decoration.

As these figures usually originated in churches they were generally repainted at regular intervals. It is therefore extremely nice to find an untouched example.

Mirror with Giltwood Decoration

George II early 18th century veneered walnut mirror with the original mirror plate. The shaped top cresting surmounted by a carved and gilded basket of flowers and with gilded floral swags down each side.

A very attractive pair of carved wood cherubs with the remains of their original paintwork.
