This panel featuring a portrait of the goddess Flora is similar to a number of recorded embroideries including those in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum, New York, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and Fenton House. Contained within a 'Nelham ' type elaborate cartouche of silk wrapped parchment with elaborate scrolls of purl and metallic threads.
