A rare sampler by the daughter of Captain Richard Lippincott who owned 3000 acres land in the Richmond Hill area. Esther was the first wife of George Taylor Dennison, one of the wealthiest landowners in Upper Canada.

Worked with coloured silks and contained in the original frame.
