Jane Bartlett. AD 1829.

Jane Bartlett was born in the village of Barton on Heath, Warwickshire, in 1821 making her only eight years old when she stitched this attractive sampler. Embroidered in coloured silks onto a cream ground, the sampler is contained in a period maple frame. Written on the reverse of the sampler are further family history details. Framed Size. 41 x 60cm.
