Palestine in the Time of Our Lord.

During the second half of the 19th century the embroidering of Maps of Palestine’ became a popular method of teaching needlework in conjunction with ‘scripture and geography.
Similar maps to this were also worked in Sunday Schools, OW & CB Colton of 15 Warren Street, New York producing one specifically for this purpose.
